The smoking fetish isn't as popular as some say, for example, feet or big breasts or mature babes. There are many theories as to what the smoking fetish represents, almost as many as there are smoking fetishists. Some poeple believe that women
who smoke display adeptness & competence when smoking, representing self confidence. Others feel that smoking signifies relaxation and a carefree attitude towards life. Perhaps it is the "naughtiness" of smoking - innocent appearing women who
"dont seem the type", or maybe its just that some women deliberately use smoking a cigarette as a prop for their sexiness - the pouting of lips, opening their mouth to exhale and the like.
Either way, there are many allegations that smoking companies started this so called myth that smoking is sexy. A quick bit of research on the net tells me that books & postcards dating to the very early 1900's and black and white films of the 30's and 40's both
